New Balance Men’s 880 v11 Run Shoe 2E Width
The New Balance 880 v11 is a classic neutral shoe that is going to continue its legacy as a reliable daily trainer.
If runners liked the previous version, they will love this, the 11th year model.
The big improvement runners would have noticed with this shoe over earlier models, is the replacement of the EVA mid-sole, with New Balance Fresh Foam.
New Balance created Fresh Foam by adding a chemical compound and using an injection-moulded heat process in its creation. The result was a mid-sole that not only looks spongy, it is spongy. And what surprised many runners, was the lightness of Fresh Foam. The benefit therefore, is a comfortable, highly shock absorbing material- that runs through the complete length of the shoe midsole.
This year’s model also continues with the soft and seamless upper, that results in less friction, which equals less blisters.
Plus, the upper is double mesh, just to give you a bit more durability.
