This bat has been pre-prepared to save you the time of the initial knocking-in period. Puma have also applied a protective facing for additional protection. This is a clear synthetic cover that sticks to the bat face and does not require maintance or oiling. Your bat will be ready for immediate use against old balls, once you apply Linseed Oil to the exposed willow areas.

Please note, it is only the initial knocking-in that has been completed. It is recommended that to begin with you use your bat against old balls in order tro finish the knocking-in process. Simply strike old balls until no further indentations appear on the bat face. You are then ready to move onto harder balls.

WARNING: If new balls are used too early, they are likely to leave marks on the bat face and may cause damage.
