The ASICS GT-1000 5 GS is a lightweight and cushioned running shoe featuring a combination of synthetic leather and mesh, the shoe is comfortable, flexible and has increased breathability.

- Duo-Max - A dual-density midsole system positioned to enhance support and stability

- Trusstic - Moulded compound under midfoot area. Provides a controlled and contoured midsole while improving arch support and torsion stability.

- Solid Rubber Outsole

- Front & Rear GEL Units - Shock absorbing material placed in midsole of shoe. Shape of units designed for special function.

- Removable Sock-liner - An EVA or SpEVA sock-liner moulded to the shape of the foot, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.

- 3M Reflectivity - Employs 45 degree hardness Solyte Lasting material for soft platform feel

- Solyte Midsole - Midsole material, lighter than ASICS standard EVA and SpEVA + improve cushioning & durability
